Discover Fresh Local Produce and Products at Gorham Farmers Market

Hey everyone! Last weekend, we had the pleasure of visiting the Gorham Farmers Market in Gorham, Maine. Normally, I would have shared this adventure with you way sooner, but with all the craziness this week, I’m just now getting around to posting. Located at 75 South Street, between the Baxter Memorial Library and The Gorham Times, this market is a vibrant hub of local produce and products. It’s open every Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, May through October. Even though it was a hot one, the warm weather didn’t slow us down. We discovered so many fantastic vendors, and I can’t wait to share them with you!

Old Wells Farm from Limington – Old Wells Farm had an impressive array of veggies that made us want to whip up a fresh, farm-to-table feast! Their kale was crisp and fresh, the fennel aromatic, and the potatoes were plump and ready for roasting. The vibrant colors and farm-fresh quality of their produce really stood out. It’s always a joy to find such high-quality, locally grown vegetables.

Wega Alpacas from Gorham – Who knew alpaca socks could be so incredibly soft? Wega Alpacas offers cozy socks that are perfect for keeping your feet warm and comfy. It’s amazing how something so simple can bring such comfort and joy.

Lemon + Lavender from Buxton – Lemon + Lavender’s booth was a sensory delight! The tantalizing aromas of their baked goods, oils, and vinegars drew us in immediately. Each product is crafted with care. Their offerings are perfect for adding a gourmet touch to any meal or enjoying a bit of pampering.

Parsons Farm from Gorham – Parsons Farm was a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. We grabbed a few small green peppers, but their array of fresh vegetables was truly impressive. The blueberries and jams looked delicious.

Kimchi Beyond Compare – Finding Kimchi Beyond Compare was a happy surprise! Their vegan kimchi is bursting with flavor and packed with probiotics. Available in many natural food stores across Maine, it’s a delicious way to support your health and enjoy a taste of Korean cuisine.

Eden Acres Family Farm from East Waterboro – Eden Acres Family Farm offers more than just seasonal produce. While it’s not apple season yet, their variety of personal care items and organic apple cider vinegar are top-notch. Their booth is a delightful mix of practical and luxurious items that you’ll want to bring home.

Noisy Acres Farm from Buxton – Noisy Acres Farm was an absolute treat! We picked up some “Tree Hugger Tree Tea” soap, which smelled divine and choosing just one scent was definitely a challenge. Layla also grabbed a relaxing bath soak. This small family goat farm produces not only soap but also chevre and fudge, making it a must-visit for unique, high-quality products.

The Milk Bottle Cocktail Mixers from South Portland – Refreshing drinks are a must on a hot day, and The Milk Bottle Cocktail Mixers did not disappoint! With four flavors to choose from and free samples, we indulged in the Lime-Aid with Maine sea salt & mint agave and the Blueberry Snap with ginger & lemon. These mixers are perfect for crafting delicious, refreshing cocktails (or mocktails) at home. Each sip was like a burst of summer!

Cat Nap Flower Farm from Limington – Brighten up your day with adorable flower bundles from Cat Nap Flower Farm! Their flowers are fresh, vibrant, and perfect for adding a touch of nature to your home. Each bundle is thoughtfully arranged and showcases the beauty of local blooms. It’s a wonderful way to bring a piece of the market back with you.

Flower & Flour – Flower & Flour offers a delightful combination of baked goods and glass pendants. Their baked treats are as delicious as their glass pendants are beautiful. Each item is crafted with care, making their booth a unique stop at the market. You can enjoy a tasty snack while picking up a lovely piece of art.

Findview Farm from Gorham – Findview Farm’s offerings of fresh meats, milk, and homemade sauces are not to be missed! Their products are of the highest quality, and you can taste the difference that comes from local, sustainable farming. It’s the perfect place to stock up on essentials and discover new favorites. Their sauces are particularly delightful, adding a burst of flavor to any dish.

We were thrilled to see an Amish family with a large selection of vegetables available for sale. Their tomatoes looked especially amazing, ripe and full of flavor. It’s a fantastic opportunity to support traditional farming methods and enjoy produce that’s been grown with care. Their commitment to quality shines through in every vegetable.

Bogs Bakery Food Truck – The Bogs Bakery Food Truck was the perfect stop for coffee, lemonade, and fresh breads. Miles picked up some sea salt bagels that were a hit! Their baked goods are fresh and delicious, making them a great treat to enjoy while exploring the market. It’s the ideal spot to recharge with a tasty snack and refreshing drink.
